Gotta say I really like the art in Batman: the Cult.

It's not even the cutest/best looking jaybin i've seen in terms of features (he's adorable in the adoption arc, uth's "mean streak dangerous robin" jason is way too cute to be taken seriously, the little jay in urban legends is frustratingly cute for the story he's in)

However the colours, the way Jason is always drawn simultaneously like a kid and a beacon of light and the way it reflects his place in the story? Top-tier shit, look at this yellow clad kid wandering underground with a torchlight to find and save Batman, this is a reminder that Jason is really Robin, Batman's light in the darkness, his reason to keep going. It's Jason who snaps Bruce out of his delusions long enough to get him going, when Bruce is considering giving up, it's Jason calling for help that saves him, when Bruce decides not to get back to Gotham Jason gasps in outrage at the idea...

I can't in good faith say I like Batman: The Cult, it really is one of those stories with a lot of potential (especially since I like horror) that was mishandled by Starlin's shitty writing but fuck if it doesn't have some of my favourite Jaybin characterization!

Sidenote, if the question is about Red Hood Jason, then it would probably be Lost Days (he looks his actual age! Look at him! He's a 15 years highschool dropout! He's gonna kill his dad! His feet can't touch the ground when he's sitting on that chair!)

I also like Dexter Soy's art and I think some of Jorge Gimenez because they're pretty and actually make him look more or less his age, but I don't associate them with characterizations I enjoy so I can't say I like them as much

I'm not totally sure if you just wanted to share this or wanted my opinion on these or something else (sorry!!!!!) but I will say that it's sweet to see Taco doing things she wouldn't normally do for other for Mic. Taco would not want to go back into her season 1 facade, but for Mic? Fine. A little demonstration. She actively hangs out with Mic outside of the game because she enjoys her company!!!! She literally plays board games with Mic if that does not show love and dedication I do not know what does.

Remember when Alicent slapped Aegon for not being around when Aemond lost his eye? Do you think she'll have the balls to slap Aemond now that Aegon got injured on his watch (assuming she doesn' tknow what he did)

by seeing the promo for next episode, she seems as cold and uncaring as she’s been this season. she’ll probably blame aegon for not following her wise council and sit pretty in the castle. anything else but indifference would mean that she’s in aegon’s side (the horror), and that she has actual human sensible reactions (unfathomable).

aemond will remain consequence free, because now he’s effectively made himself the most powerful person in the room. alicent will learn how good she had it when aegon was in charge because aegon would never leave king’s landing unprotected to go burn civilians in the riverlands.

thank you! And honestly I might add a more connected story (i posted a miscellaneous post about the danny from that post because I was still thinking about him). The more I think about it though, yeah probably? I'd like to explore that reunion between Danny and Damian at some point. Plus Danny's experience in Amity Park and his growth from there.

The post was meant to be more of a prompt for other people to take inspiration from and add their own ideas onto, so the mirage was something I kept purposely vague so that people could come up with their own theories about it. But for my take on it? Magic user in Gotham that they got in a fight with. It was a physically visual mirage so anyone who was in the room could've seen it, and it was capable of being picked up on the cameras in their mask/cowls (which i hear is a thing sometimes) so it can be replayed back in the cave.
